With the recent event of Hurricane Maria, my family and our community suffered major damages not only to the structure of the homes, but also the infrastructure of roads, bridges and communications.
80% of wooden build homes are gone and resources are very limited. The estimate for jobs, water and electricity restoration is between 6-9 months making it difficult for our families to have a quality of life during this period.
With your help, we should be able to extend our hand by traveling and bring with us resources or send by mail, offer relocation (plane tickets) for those that want to, buy materials to rebuild and most importantly offer piece of mind and a safe heaven to those family members in need until everything is restored back in place.
