Lou Hamelin Cancer Fund

Hi, I am Nicole Cotter. I am raising money for my friend Lou Hamelin. I first met Lou in Belle River during high school, but we became close friends when we went through nursing school together. Lou lost her mother to cancer at a young age. She has also struggled with cystic fibrosis (a disease that affects her lungs) her whole life. Lou has already been through so much, but she is now facing another battle. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian/Primary Peritoneal Cancer which is a disease of the lining of her organs. The money will be used toward medical bills, and living expenses for her and her two children. She needs the funds as soon as possible as she begins her battle with this devasting disease. She is a single mom who works full time to support her family and soon may not be capable of doing so. Thank you to everyone who donates, I can't tell you how grateful Lou would be.
