My Family's New Home

Donation protected
In a lot of ways, mankind are like phoenixes; we rise from the ashes of our darkest times to sieze the day again. This has happened throughout history to everyone, no matter who you are, at least once.

But for some of us, it's not just once.

My family and I have been through a lot of things: being nearly homeless and living in a hotel, to having a perpetually intoxicated father (who is doing much better now,) to going through a custody battle with my own relatives, to finally living relatively well, and then having a house fire take nearly everything away from us in front of our eyes two and a half years ago. Two seperations, and fifteen years later, and here we are, a mixture of good and bad experiences, some mentioned here, most not, that have shaped all of us to be more resilient.

But sometimes resilience isn't enough. That is why we need your help. My mother, her sister, my brother and sister have been asked to move out of their house. In a week from today, 10/22/2015. The landlord had given notice, but made it very convincing to my mother that her lease would be extended, and after three weeks of pondering the decision, the landlord came back with the "Move out" verdict. Remember, this was a week from the official lease-end date of Halloween. This means that, unfortunately due to the implied assurance that they would stay where they were, they were not prepared to look for a place to live and being that money is still tight as is due to my mother and stepfather seperating recently, they'll be saving what they can with the week's notice they got. However, they've got a week to save up close to $2,000 to make the initial deposit on whatever place they get, as well as make the first month's rent payment, which is where we need your help.

My mother and my siblings will make do, with what they have, if they have to, but in order to keep things running as smoothly as possible with my brother and sister, whom are both still in Middle School, and High school respectively, I would appreciate it if anyone can donate anything so they can move into somewhere decent and not have to worry about where they're gonna live or how they'll afford all of the initial costs associated with moving. Anything you can give. I mean it. Anything, will be appreciated. If you can spare 1 cent, a dollar, $25, or even the full asking amount, please know that it will help this family move on and have a normal lifestyle again.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you'll be willing to contribute to this fund.
