We are living in terror, destruction, and high prices. We are exposed to death at any moment, in the streets and even in our homes. I need to travel with my family outside Gaza and for my second son to complete his university studies in Egypt. I hope to escape from Gaza and for the rest of my family to survive the war. <div>My name is Christa Robinson, and I am a graduate student at Michigan State University. I have gotten to know Fatima over the past few months via chatting online. She first came to me to help her fundraise for her son, Ahmed, so that he might earn enough to fund a trip outside of Gaza to receive much needed medical treatment. Unfortunately, that opportunity never arrived, and he passed away of a treatable condition due to the lack of access to medical treatment to Palestinians in Gaza.
