May is Prader-Willi Awareness Month!

Donation protected
May is Prader-Willi Awareness month. As most of you know, Téa was born with a rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Babies with PWS have low muscle tone and difficulty feeding. Ironically, later in life they lack normal hunger and satiety cues causing them to feel a constant and intense hunger. Téa is quickly overcoming the early challenges of PWS, but research for a cure is her only hope for avoiding the major challenges that lie ahead.

In recognition of Prader-Willi Awareness month we are trying to raise $2,000 in 30 days in order to set up the Téa Marie DeFelice Fund at the University of Florida. All of the money donated to this fund will support the research efforts of Téa's endocrinologist, Dr. Jennifer Miller.

To reach our goal, we need 100 people to donate $20 in the next 30 days. Please help us spread awareness for PWS and raise money for this important cause. Read more about PWS here: https://www.fpwr.org/about-prader-willi-syndrome

This is an all-or-nothing crowd funding campaign. If we do not raise the $2,000.00 required to setup the fund, you will not be charged. Unfortunately, these donations are not tax deductible, but the created fund will have 501(c)(3) exemption status and future gifts will be. Please also note that if we raise more than $2000.00, that money will also seed the fund.

THANK YOU!
