Baby Matthew Keanu

Baby Matthew was attacked on July 28th by what his grandma was told was a friendly dog.  His grandma sat and chatted with the owners for a while but when it was time to go, Matthew waved goodbye to the owners of the dog and that is when the dog lunged at him and bit into his face.  When the dog released Matthew's face, he bit back onto his shoulder and ripped his ear in that split second.

Matthew then underwent 6 hours of surgery to reconstruct his precious little face.  At this point, we do not know how much nerve damage or how many possible surgeries he has to undergo down the road.  The doctors are saying it will probably take the better part of a year to learn how much nerve damage he will be left with at just 3 years old.




As you can imagine, the bills are piling up for this young beautiful family.  Not only medical bills but in the recent hail storms in Colorado that have totaled their vehicle.  They do have one working vehicle but Matthew's Mommy has to leave for work at 5:30 a.m. which is making it very difficult for them to get Matthew to his now, very frequent appointments to get the care he needs.
