James Bridges gifted guitarist of acclaimed Melbourne Blues Band 'Collard Greens & Gravy', sadly passed away on the 22 September only 10 weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. James was only 57 years old.

For over 30 years James dedicated his life to his music and it was through this love and his distinctive and creative take on the blues that James touched the lives of many people around Australia and abroad.

In life he was a proud and humble man who never asked for much and never earned the money his great talent deserved. His last wish was that he could cover the cost of his funeral.

We  would like to ask his extended musical family and those who admired him and his music over the years, to assist with the cost of farewelling our much loved friend and musician.
