Hi and welcome to Afton's "gofundme" page. Afton Opal Allen was born on 03/25/2013 at 25 weeks to Dana and Ryen Allen. She weighed in at 1 pound 10.4 ounces and 14 inches long and is considered a "micro-premi". She is at Blank Childrens Hospital in Des Moines in the NICU and is getting the best care around. Afton has been fighting for her life since day one and is kicking butt! She couldn't do this without her parents by her side, as she loves their touch and the sound of their voice. Afton has created such a loving spot in so many peoples hearts and we want her parents to be worry and stress free about the thing that means the least in times like these... money.
