For the past year, my mother’s health had been steadily declining due to serious medical issues. She spent over a year in a skilled nursing facility, where she received ongoing care.

Recently, I received a heartbreaking call from the nursing home letting me know that my mother had gone into congestive heart failure. Tragically, she had been without oxygen to her brain for too long. She was kept on life support for the purpose of organ donation — a final act of generosity that truly reflected the kind of person she was.

I’m now asking for help to cover the funeral expenses and give my mother the respectful farewell she deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to me and my family during this incredibly difficult time.
