I'm an aspiring opera singer about to transition into my professional career as a full time musician.
For this I need your help!
I am graduating from the famous San Francisco Conservatory of Music in May. I am excited to announce that I have been accepted into two prestigious opera programs to sing fantastic roles!
In Germany I have been offered the role of Papagena in The Magic Flute in July with the Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar.
Update: I am very excited to announce I was offered a professional gig with Opera San Jose in August so I will no longer be participating in the Vancouver Summer Opera Studio. I hope to get the chance to work with them in the future and I look forward to working with Opera San Jose.
The opportunity to perform roles like these and make new contacts in the business is crucial. It's an extremely vital step to my continued development as a singer while transitioning from a student to a budding professional.
As a full time student for the past 6 years I cannot take advantage of these chances without your help.
Though crucial to my development, it is expensive! The cost of traveling to Europe is high, as are the living expenses during the program.
It's support from people like you that allows me to continue my education as an opera singer. Your help will grant me the opportunity to achieve a goal I've worked and striven for all my life!
Where Your Contribution Goes, The Break Down:
The $5,000 will go towards the cost of travel and living expenses
$2,000 will go to my plane tickets
