My name is Hari Caulfield,
I want to raise money for a community that I have had the privilege of working with over the last four years. The village of Kro-Bei-Reil, is home to the Self Help Community Centre. I first visited SHCC in 2012, and straight away fell in love with the country and the people I met and worked with.
SHCC has created an environment where children and adults can learn, grow and develop not just themselves but their community. The idea behind it all is to bring back a country, devastated by genocide and civil unrest, to its former glory.
The money raised from this page, will go toward the idea of sustainability. The director, Sambat Choan, is a man dedicated to this idea. He chose to put his own wants and needs to one side, and develop SHCC to bring his community together and provide the basic essentials we all take for granted.
The funding is needed urgently, as payments for land, wages and infrastructure have to be made. SHCC and the friends I have made, mean more to me than I ever thought possible. I have met some of the greatest, most generous and loving people in Kro-Bei-Reil and they deserve only happiness.
Any form of support on this page would be amazing. SHCC and the community have worked so hard and achieved so much. The possibility that it could be taken away from them is a truly frightening thought.
If we can hit this target, no words would explain the joy that I will feel. On top of that, the lives of people who truly need and deserve our help will be made better.
