BABY WILL GO BLIND WITHOUT SURGERY FROM CONSTANT DAMAGE TO HER CORNEAS.
My dog Baby was found by us on July 18th in a dumpster, 3 weeks later she came down with Demodex Mange that infected her eyes and lashes so bad that after a long battle, her eyes are now permanently deformed. her eyes were swollen for six or more months as she grew from an 8 week old pup, she is now 10 months old. she has Bilateral Entropion. Her eyelashes from her lids now grow in toward her eyes, causing scratching to her corneas constantly. We give her medication to lubricate to minimize this but if we do not get the corrective surgery SHE WILL GO BLIND WITHOUTH THE SURGERY. The vet bills have been an enormous burdenbattling the mange and other immune disorder function she has. We've went for 2nd and 3rd opinions. Bottom Line...she NEEDS the surgery and the sooner the better. Any Donations are welcome, $5, $10 anything helps.
MAY 6TH - BABY SAW THE SPECIALIST/SURGEON.
she needs reconstructive surgery on lower muscles and removal of tissues on all 4 lids...then she needs stitches removed from lids in 2 weeks after surgery. doc wanted to do surgery as soon as this thursday but I told him we have financial issues. (Baby has minimal abrasions on cornea SHE WILL HEAL but surgery needs to be done asap) SURGERY IS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 23RD 8 AM. I need to come up with the difference of the money $2000 should be final cost all inclusive. as of today we have $810...need almost $1200 more.
