My friend Cristina Helmerich is facing an unexpected expense right now.
Cristina's dog Corina underwent liver surgery this morning.  This is because she had a lesion on her liver, and unless she had the surgery her liver could burst.  
All of you who know Cristina well are aware that Corina and Daisy are her babies, and that she would do anything to keep them safe and healthy.
