My name is Leigh Carnwath and this is hard for me to write about my Mom's (Cheryl Carnwath) story, but I feel this is something that needs to be done. My Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about 14 years ago, where she had the tumors removed and seemed to be doing just fine. Unfortunatly about 5 years ago my Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer to the bone.  Where she found out only by fracturing her hip. She is a strong woman, so got treatment to get rid of the tumors and regrew her bone by taking supplements. In all of this she kept high spirits and a positive attitude.

Unfortunatly just recently the bone cancer has come back. My mom went into emergency surgery on Sept. 3, 2016 where a metal rod was placed in her femur, where the cancer had deteriorated her bone. This is just the begining where she will need to do radiation and maybe look into extra alternative treatments.

My mom through these times has been in and out of work and stresses about when she can go back just to pay for all the medical bills that are piling up, since my Dads salary alone cannot cover it all.

If I could just have one prayer answered it would be that my Mom dose not have to stress about how she is going to afford the treatment she needs to get better and that is why I have started this go fund me for my Mom.

With my Moms strong faith and perseverance, I have hope that she will get through this fight against cancer. It would mean the world to me and my family if we could take one less stress off her shoulders and provide the finances its going to take to help my Mom get the treatment she needs.
