I'm reaching out for help because I'm experiencing financial difficulties from the loss of my husband Charlie's income. I am unable to pay our bills with my wages alone.
My commute from Desert Hot Springs to Loma Linda to be by his side is very costly.
My husband Charlie has been suffering from severe back pain since June. He was diagnosed with arthritis in his spine from findings on an Xray and sciatic pain. He was given a variety of pain pills and sent home. Pain pills weren't the answer.
In a period of 2 1/2 months Charlie went from weighing 169 to 140 lbs.
Charlie and I went back to see his doctor and he was advised to go immediately to emergency.
He was admitted and through catscans and an MRI they found a large tumor on his kidney, which was so large that it fractured his vertebra.
The fractured vertebra caused him to be bedridden.
Additional test were done. They discovered cancer on his lower spine and later a spot on his lung.
I'm asking for help we have no family to rely on. All we have is each other.
