Our precious baby boy Jaxton Edward Knox was born on September 15, 2016 via emergency c-section at 26 weeks/3.5 months early weighing only 1lb 2 oz and 12 inches long.
This will require him to remain in the NICU for approximately 3-4 months. Jax is currently receiving the highest level of care at Baylor All Saints Medical center in Ft Worth Texas. He is on a Ventilator with a breathing tube to support his immature lungs and a feeding tube that he receives Mommy's breast milk through. He has 3 Iv's which they are using to give multiple different medications and platelet and blood transfusions. We are asking for donations to help accommodate for his medical expenses and to help with travel and miscellaneous expenses for us to be with him as much as possible which is very crucial in his care and development, we live approximately 40 miles away. We are currently trying to get into the Ronald McDonald house to ease the distance issue but they are currently full and a very busy time for the facility. We are so grateful for all the prayers, love and support from everyone, during this extremely difficult time. Every little bit is extremely helpful. Thank you all again.
