Two years ago my sister was diagnosed with a fast moving form of breast cancer. Within 2 weeks of diagnosis she had received a double mastectomy and started rounds of the strongest chemo treatments they can give. It worked and she beat the cancer! She was so strong and positive through the whole fight.
On September 16 2016, Lisa was again diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. This time the breast cancer has spread to her brain, lungs, and bones. She has another huge fight ahead of her.
Being a young family (she's 36) with 2 small kids at home, and having already endured such a financial strain from the last round (she was only able to return to work a couple months ago!) I am setting up this go fund me account to help relieve them from more stress associated with her recovery.
Anyone who knows Lisa, knows what a light she is. The entire time she was receiving chemo and surgeries the first time, she remained positive, beautiful, kind, and basically strengthened every amazing quality that she already has. She will start again next week, and her attitude has not changed. She's ready for war, and I KNOW she's going to win! In her words; Game On.
