Terry's asking for help!

Donation protected
Okay, so here goes! Those that know me well, know that I have a hard time asking for help, and when it comes to asking for a loan, well, lets just say I'll wait until the last box of kraft dinner has been inhaled before I do, and then once the person I ask says "yes", there is always a lot of hyperventilating, apologies and crying! I'm sure it's not a pretty sight.

This last year has been pretty good to me and I am forever grateful for everyone and everything in my life. I was super confident that I would find a new job quickly after the well thought out plan evaporated into the air. Always the optimist I was like, "everything is going to be alright. I'm going to get this one, or I can do this!" There have been interviews and some call backs but no offers. So it was decided that if I don't have a new job by the end of this month, September, I will give my two months notice on my apartment, sell my stuff and move into a room until I can find another job or figure out a way to make a living from home, then get a new place and get back to making art.

As it turns out, today I received an invite for an interview at a place that I've been trying to get into for a few years now. Based on what I've learned, this interview process could take a few weeks. So here is the challenge. If I get the job but it's after the end of the month I will have sold and packed for nothing, not to mention the stress for my landlady who has to find someone to move into a place out here in Riverside South where there are way too many rentals vs tenants!

I am asking for your help here, to raise enough money for October rent, utilities, mine and Jason's cell phone, oh and food, so that i can see this job interview process through to its end.

Amanda Palmer's TED talk called The art of asking, is what inspired me to do this. You can see it here...https://www.ted.com/talks/amanda_palmer_the_art_of_asking?language=en. I kind of want to be her when I grow up!

If this campaign doesn't work out, I go back to plan A with an open heart for a new adventure in scaled down living! : ] Either scenario I'll be fine and am grateful for the adventure.

If you can help, I am so grateful, thank you soooo much. xoxoxo. In return for your help, I will make you your favorite baked good, or design you a logo, business card, or iTunes album cover for your latest song. I will cat sit, or take your dog for a walk and yes, even pick up it's poop...gaaaag! I will shovel your walkway, or wash your car, or stand in line at the passport office, or make you a painting!

So here i go, into this crowdfunding leap..and in the words of Amanda Palmer...
"Asking for help with gratitude says:
We have the power to help each other.”

thanks for listening.
