Scherer Family

This fund is to help the Scherer family with medical and funeral expenses.  

On September 15th, the Scherers were innocently involved in a 6 car pileup  accident on I75 in Hernando County.   They were in the first car rear ended and were pushed into the car in front of them.  The entire family was injured and transported to the hospital however, tragically, their 9 year old son Logan, sustained fatal injuries.

The Scheres are our neighbors and friends.  Logan and his 5 year old sister, Mallory, are my kids' best friends.  They played together almost every day and we have come to care about Logan and Mallory as if they were our own children.  Our hearts are breaking for the Scherers at this inconceivably-hard time.   

We're all still processing this horrific event, none moreso than the Scheres.  The emotional wounds from the events of yesterday will stay with the family and friends long after the physical injuries heal, even for a lifetime, but our hope is that we can raise enough money that their medical expenses and funeral costs will not be an additional burden.
