Extreme Medical Cases from San Antonio

Donation protected

Hello DBMR supporters and followers! We are in GREAT NEED of your help with sharing and donating for three medical cases we are rescuing from the Brooks Facility in San Antonio, Texas.

Milo is a sweet and wiggly boy that has suffered at the hands of humans. He is from a neglect/cruelty case. This sweet boy is extremely emaciated with all of his rib bones, hip bones and vertebrae showing. He has pressure sores on his legs, butt and tail area. He is suffering from mange and a secondary skin infection. We do not know if he is heartworm positive or negative yet, we should find out in the next day or so. (he will need to be boarded for 10 days of quarantine to make sure he is not carrying distemper or anything else-he has a foster lined up afterwards) See his photos here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.425492540879415.1073741831.245589762203028&type=3

Brooklyn is a sweet and happy girl that loves people and treats. She was used as a surrogate mom for 5 puppies that lost their own mom. When Brooklyn's milk dried up, she was no use to anyone anymore, so she was placed on the kill list. She is a beautiful little girl, and she did her service without complaints. It is so unfair that she will die now because she cannot produce any more milk. We know she is not a pit bull but we cannot leave her behind. She was a mom to 5 pittie puppies that were pulled by another rescue and she was going to be tossed out like yesterday's trash. Brooklyn is emaciated and suffers from malnutrition. We do not know if she is heartworm positive or negative yet, we should find out in the next day or so. Godiva is a sweet and snorty elderbull. They have her listed at 8 but she might be a little older. She has suffered a seizure and because of this the left side of her face droops. She is missing her bottom front teeth, she has a cracked canine and some infected teeth. She has also suffered from poor nutrition. She is a little portly, but it is obvious the food given to her was not the best. We do not know if she is heartworm positive or negative yet, we should find out in the next day or so.
