Kentucky Gives Substitute Campaign

The Anderson Humane Society had planned on participating in Wednesday's "Kentucky Gives" program. Unfortunately, we only recently learned of this one-day fundraising campaign and were not able to register in time. So we have decided to do our own fundraising campaign in conjunction with "Kentucky Gives". Our goal is to raise $2,000 to help provide food and shelter for our homeless pets still waiting for their Fur-ever homes. This may seem like a lot of money, but take into consideration that our monthly veterinary expenses alone sometimes exceed $5,000, not to mention dog and cat food, kitty litter, office supplies, cleaning supplies, gasoline, insurance, and multiple other expenses:$2,000 doesn't even begin to touch how much it costs us to keep the doors to our adoption center open for a month.

That's why we're asking you:yes, YOU:to step up and give a one-time donation on Wednesday to help us raise funds we desperately need to continue our life-saving work.
