In August 2013, Fireflies International Preschool of Kampot will be opening its doors to provide education in the Kampot province, Cambodia. Fireflies aims to provide quality education for children within Kampot, no matter their background or financial status. It will promote social and cultural integration and provide a safe and creative learning environment for the children.
By opening the school for Western and Khmer children and by setting up a sponsorship program for under-privileged Khmer children, Fireflies will be the only school in the Kampot province providing quality education, quality resources and a safe green learning environment.
Fees will be set at a level that pays costs and a cash reserve which can be used for school improvements, purchase of resources and providing scholarships for under-privileged students. As a supporter, you will help provide us with the tools to obtain resources, create a safe location and school's improvements.
Your donation of any amount, along with others, will help us realize our goals. Cambodia is rapidly changing and progressive. A quality education can allow students and teachers to learn, grow and aim high. Regular updates will be provided on our website on how the funds have been used.
