Peru is one of the fastest and largest developing economies in South America. To continue this trend, it is essential that the youth develop skills that will allow them to compete in the global market. Peruvian scholars have identified that English language skills significantly improve an individual's opportunity for a successful career path. This country depends on international volunteers to make this education possible.
This summer, Taylor and Klevis will be traveling to the beautiful city of Cuzco, Peru to teach English in rural, impoverished communities of indigenous Peruvian students. We are passionate about volunteering our time and knowledge to educate and inspire children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attain this education. What amounts to a small commitment on our end will make a dramatic difference in the lives of many.
