Fund My Flight

As many of you know, I've been offered the opportunity to work as a development worker with a local civil society organization in Uganda for a few months. This is such great news! However, I wasn't notified of this offer with enough time to plan economically. My job is to start June first and I was only recently notified. Plane tickets are expensive! I'm reaching out to my friends and family to ask for help covering the costs of my safe transportation to and from Masaka, Uganda. The money you donate will go towards funding my airfare and taxis; all other arrangements (such as my housing, etc.) have already been secured.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime, the perfect capstone to my degree in African Studies, which I will complete next month, and a significant step in the direction towards what I hope amounts to a long-term career in international public service.
