June & Mimi's Journey Home

URGENT REQUEST... I would appreciate your prayers in this complicated situation. My little cousin is in a very difficult place right now. His name is June and he is an 8 year-old boy who lives in the Philippines. He was abandoned by his mother years ago and his father (retired US military) recently passed away without preparing for his son's care. He is alone in the Philippines. Mimi, my wonderful wife, is there with him. She has dropped everything to rescue June from possible harm and arrived not long ago. Mimi and June are in a hotel there now waiting on paperwork, and then they will go to the US Embassy in Manila. We will be his legal guardians until he can be reunited with his brother and aunt here in the US.

Much needs to happen for that to become reality: embassy trips, paperwork, and red tape. Many expenses which we are trusting will be supernaturally supplied as funds are very short. Our hope is that it goes amazingly smooth and quickly for the little guy's sake.. Please pray for Mimi, even though she is a survivor (she had been abandoned in her childhood as well), this is a lot for her to deal with alone, and there may be those there in June's city wishing to use this as opportunity to extort money. She is trusting God to give her the wisdom and strength to do all that needs to be done there.


***UPDATE!! The stress and risk continue to increase there as Mimi and June try to get the paperwork they need for the Embassy: his school records, his father's death certificate, and his passport.



This is a fund for June and Mimi that I have set up in an effort to help with the expenses of this situation which are continually mounting. I have been saving money to get Mimi here but with this new development, I am a bit overwhelmed and your support has been a great encouragement for me.
