Jadyn's Vet Expenses

NorCal Cocker Rescue and Jaydn need your help.  Jaydn was rescued along with her friend Jorgia from the San Jose shelter.   They are a bonded pair that love each other very much!  We knew that Jaydn had a heart murmur, per the shelter's notes, but did not know the extent of how bad her heart  was.   After  Dr. MacKie, a cardiologist, gave her an echocardiogram and then taking her to U.C. Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital, it was confirmed  she has "severe pulmonic stenosis"  which means the "valve in her heart is thickened and fused making a smaller opening (stenosis) and increasing the pressure that Jaydn's heart has to pump against."

Jaydn is only 5 years old and is such a gentle and loving girl and so deserves a chance to improve her life.

The procedure that the cardiologist is recommending  is balloon valvuloplasty .  The veterinarians believe she would benefit greatly from this procedure and will give her a longer lifespan.   Without the procedure her heart will get worse and she would die a sudden death.

NorCal Cocker Rescue would appreciate any donation you can give to help Jaydn have a longer life!   We are a non-profit rescue and your donation is tax-deductible.
