Move House For Medical Reasons

My son and I are former members of the Australian Army. My son was discharged from the Army after 7 years service when he was diagnosed with epilepsy. He is a single parent and recieves little support from the government and has very little prospects of holding a job.

He needed help just to get through his daily life with his son and they were struggling to survive. I quit my job as an interstate driver to help him and we moved to cairns but his condition has become worse due to (we think) the heat and stress.

I cannot find work here in Cairns and we really need to get out of here for my son's health.

We need to raise $10,000 to move 3731 K's to Adelaide.
Adelaide has better prospects for me to support both my son and grandson.
Without jobs and my son's declining health we have no future here and could possibly lose everything.

As a parent it is very distressing seeing your family go through hard times, As a parent I feel I am letting my family down by not being able to get a job here in Cairns.

This is the most difficult thing I have had to do, ask for people's help so my son can get the medical care  he needs.

The Australian Government doesn't give a rats ring about it's former defence members, hopefully others do.
