Funding the Power of Change

I have always had a strong desire to help those who were hurting, lost, lonely, and or destitute on this Earth. It has been a struggle to find a way that allows me to meet both the emotional needs of humans and their physical needs. Missions has been an ever present calling in my life that for a long time has only been a faint whisper due to my stubbornness to be active in faith. In the last year I have begun the walk into discovering my purpose and calling. I have witnessed the power of change within a handful of fellow believers who have gone to YWAM (youth with a mission) DTS (discipleship training school) and I have heard the testimony of God's enormous power awakening in the country where these missionaries walked. I applied in April for DTS in Honolulu Hawaii and have recently received my acceptance for DTS, September 19, 2017 thru February 28, 2018.
The first three months will be spent on the island of Oahu and include lectures, worship, community outreach, evangelism, prayer and in-depth training for outreach. Honolulu YWAM focuses on Asia and the South Pacific. In the second two months I will be sent to one or more of the following countries: Philippines, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, China, Bangladesh, and or Thailand. The outreaches range from trekking through villages preaching the gospel, teaching English, taking care of widows and orphans, serving local churches and businesses, praying for the sick to be healed, working on clean water projects, helping communities rebuild from natural disasters, and/or helping those trapped in the sex trade industry.
First and foremost I am asking for prayer that God's kingdom grows and his people's needs are reached and met. I do also ask that if it is laid on anyone's heart to financially contribute to my ability to reach YWAM that they would, for the cost is a very real challenge. I have put aside money to meet my needs as well as raising some funds. The money will cover the cost of food, visas, air fare and outreach needs.
My total cost must be met by October, 20th, 2017.
