Turf's TPLO surgery

As many of you know, Turf is a very active pup. He goes to work with Casey at Sporting KC everyday and takes pride in keeping the geese off of the fields at their training facility. Turf does a lot of running, whether it be playing with the coaches and players or just doing his job. Recently, Turf started limping around... we took him to vet and they told us he has an ACL and meniscal tear and will need to have TPLO surgery to repair it and be back at 100% (yay!). The timing of this surgery is not so great for us as Kristin is finishing PTA school and doing full time clinicals and cannot work. This is a very pricey surgery (close to $3500) and we know bub needs to it so that he can continue being active without pain. He is such an important part of our family and the turf department at Sporting. Turfs surgery is scheduled for October 23rd at Blue Springs Animal Hospital.
