"Beverly Wants To Go College"

My name is Jackie Scott and this is Beverly my 8 year old grandaughter. Yesterday I lost a son and she lost her dad. I cannot change the past...death is certain but I can help shape the future.
I've received so many request from folks all over asking how they could help. Beverly often talks about going to college and it was my son's desire that Beverly would one day be able to attend. It's with that in mind that I ask for your help.
Beverly is an excellent student and likes to travel. Inspite of the fact that she now has to grow up without her father, a good education will help her to succeed in a future full of promise. As hard as it has been for me to come to terms with the fact that I've lost a son, it's even harder for Beverly to understand losing her dad.
All monies raised will be used to setup a college fund for Beverly to attend college. I cannot think of a better way to honor my son than to provide Beverly with the opportunity to get a good education.
