We are 2nd Sight Dance Company from Orlando, Florida. In May 2015, we will premier our first show SHADOWS & LIGHT at the Orlando International Fringe Festival. As a newly formed dance company there are a lot of expenses that occur from paying for rehearsal space to props and costumes.
You can be an integral part of our inaugural season by donating to this campaign. Your funds will go directly to paying for props, costumes, and rehearsal space for the new show.
2nd Sight Dance Company offers audiences a new perspective of what dance can be with the addition of magic and illusion; not to fool, but to inspire. The title of the show derives from the old magician’s adage of "smoke and mirrors," which speaks to the illusion elements used throughout the performance. Unlike typical magic shows, 2nd Sight Dancers are trained to incorporate magic into the dance medium. The result is a completely unique dance performance where magic occurs when you least expect it.
