2nd CD Project

Those who know me well, or have been acquainted with my song ministry, know that I recorded my first CD in 2010 with the help of my music teacher Edward Wing.  I have given away hundreds of those CDs over the years as I have worked with Dr Smiley on the mission field in street meetings, churches, prisons, nursing homes, on radio, television, and other places here and in other countries.  I have hoped and prayed for the day that I would be able to record another studio quality CD. I have many songs that have yet to be recorded, and my hearts desire has been to record them to bless God's people, and to leave behind when I am gone.  About a month ago, a good friend who is a retired engineer came in to my restaurant with his wife of over 50 years.  They had with them his longtime friend, who is also a retired engineer. Before leaving, they offered me the use of his friends' recording studio, which is in Chicago, Illinois.  I knew that my prayers had been answered. The title for my new CD is "Solid Ground".  There will be 12 songs, nine of which have already been written, and three new songs that I hope to finish. We will also be remastering, copying, and packaging my 1st CD, "In the Palm of His Hand". This fundraiser is for my travel expenses to Chicago where I will be recording my vocals and guitar.  It is also to cover the costs of studio time and musicians fees in Tennessee, as I am hoping to have a few professional musicians I am acquainted with to play backup on both CDs.   It will also cover the costs of copying and packaging the final product.  I will be in the studio in Chicago November 15-19.
