2nd Annual Night of New Works!

Donation protected
Post Shift Theatre is gearing up for our Second Annual Night of New Works on Monday August, 27!

We have brought together a diverse group of 30 theatre artists from around the DMV area to present 6 brand new 10-minute plays written specially for our event.

However, as a young company, we need your support during this final stretch. We are seeking donations that will go towards compensating our artists - in the form of food and drink - as well as recouping certain overhead expenses including rentals.

What's more, every successful event grows the Post Shift Theatre family, and every donation allows us to continue offering opportunities to emerging artists and hospitality industry workers.

We greatly appreciate any and all amounts you are willing to give and will make a point to emphatically thank you at the event itself!

Tickets to Post Shift Theatre's 2nd Annual Night of New Works can be found Here .

REWARDS TIERS
All donors who give $25 or more will have their names listed in the program.

For donations of $50 or more, we are offering a complimentary ticket to the event, and for donations of $100 or more, we are offering two!

For all donations of $200 or more, get a round of drinks on us! Donors at this level will receive one drink ticket - redeemable for a handcrafted cocktail by Republic Restoratives on the night of the event - for each complimentary ticket redeemed.

What's Post Shift?

The name is a play on words referencing the hospitality industry in which we all, and most actors are employed, and the literal shift in our lives as emerging artists and recent graduates. Our mission is to provide opportunities for emerging D.C actors and artists to be artistically challenged and fulfilled.

So What?

We are different from other new theatre companies because not only will we focus on recruiting up and coming artists, but our ideology is heavily borrowed from the hospitality industry: the importance of a guest's experience from start to finish; maintaining a collaborative culture within our company and with others; the special treatment one gets as a member of the industry; the respect paid to anyone else in the industry whether that be bar back, host, server, bartender, dive bar cocktail bar etc, because there are no ranks.
