Help Fix Jorge's (my dogfriend's) Leg!

Okay, I'm not the best at asking for help but this time I really need to. A few nights ago my little dog 'Boy Jorge' jumped down, landed completely wrong and snapped his little wrist breaking two bones. $600 later and a trip to the 24-hour emergency vet's office, we have xrays and a splint (as you can see in the photo). On Monday, Jorge has to have a surgery to save his leg. Due to the way he broke it, the leg requires a plate to be surgically put in. Our vet is a small independent office, and does not finance for surgeries. They estimated the surgery to cost about $1800, and it will fix his leg for the rest of his life. He is only 1.5 years old, so this guy has a LOT of life left.
I have already spent all of my savings of $600 on the emergency vet visit, when the accident happened. I am a single mom of 2 boys and I work 6 days a week, but in no way will I have anything close to the amount needed for surgery in only a couple of days.
I have one sister who can help a little, but no other family to even ask. I have always thought of all of my friends as my family, and now I need to please ask all of you for some much needed help.
I have until this coming Monday (April 22nd) to come up with as much as I can to have Jorge's leg fixed. Please donate to fix Jorge's leg...even if it is only $5 or less, that is so much appreciated. If everyone I know could donate a few dollars, it will certainly add up and help me get closer to being able to save Jorge's leg. I love this little guy with all of my heart, and he is a very important part of our family. My boys love him to death and want to be able to play and run with Jorge again.
