Wedds is coming to America!

For anyone who knows me, they also know that the one true love of my life, is a little boy named Wedds Alexis. I met Wedds three years ago in Port au Prince, Haiti and we have been attached at the hip ever since. Through my journey in Haiti, I have discovered many things. First and foremost that love has no race, no color, no social status, and no boundaries. Wedds is a brilliant little boy. He has been enrolled at Morning Star Christian Academy for two years, an English curriculum school, and has been on the honor role with straight A's since the beginning. He speaks English almost fluently and has made me so proud. 

Getting a visa for a Haitian to come to the USA is a near impossibility. Since the earthquake, entry has been denied countless times for several of my friends. We decided to take a chance on Wedds and apply. That day was a day of miracles...not only did Wedds get a visitation visa, but it is for five years!

I promised Wedds that if we got it, he could come to visit me in the United States this summer on his school break and I want to make that happen.

However, I need a little help and I hope you can help me raise enough funds for me to go and get Wedds, purchase his ticket and also bit of money for him while he is here to go to New York City! His favorite movie is Home Alone and he wants to stand on top of the Empire State Building!!

I have dedicated my life to serving this country, with no regrets. I love it there, the people and the promise of a bountiful future for the ones I love. Let's help Wedds get started. Once he gets a few stamps in his passport, his future will be open for possibilities! Help me make that happen for this little boy. One person at a time....
