Funshine Preschool Moving Fund!

Funshine Preschool is moving!
 After decades of providing quality, nurturing, care and trusted early childhood education, our beloved preschool is moving and we need your help!

  We are a  preschool that enrolls about 60 children varying in age from 3 months up to 5 years old-infants to kindergarten ready!  

   After serving generations in the same location, our school is having to relocate.  The space we currently rent is being redeveloped into an affordable housing complex on Columbia Pike.
    We are excited about the opportunity for growth and have found a new home in the historic Nauck neighborhood.  While the school will be new to us, the building is not and needs many renovations.  We are raising money to transform the old YMCA into the new Funshine!  
  In order to function as a school, the building's current open floor plan needs walls built on both the first and second floors to create classrooms.  Child accessible bathrooms need to be installed, as well as as new  floors, a new banister for the stairwell, and a fresh coat of paint.  
 * Adding walls upstairs and downstairs to the buildings open floor plan.
* New ceilings & Light Fixtures
*Paint interior walls and ceiling
* New banister for stairwell
* Remove old and install new flooring 
*Exterior signage for the building
* Purchase of some furniture pieces and educational supplies for the new classroom including bathroom toliets and sinks
* Purchase of some playground equipment


As we hear continually quoted throughout the day, by our students chanting the wise Bob the Builder, "Can We Fix it? Yes We Can!"  But we need your help!
