As a homeless transgender child I had to fight to exist in a community not built for me to thrive as do allot of our transkids communities abroad. Having to do strenuous things to eat and just exist as an American citizen. How can we ignore what is going on? Out transchildren are living in crisis hungry, afraid, abs socially oppressed. I have made it my life decision to aid And house our transwomen and men currently living in Pittsburgh pa. I am the Vice president of proudhaven a homeless shelter for LGBTQIA youth and adults in Pittsburgh pa we work very hard to house our population and ensure there safety and nourishment please visit our website at www.proudhaven.org My dream is to open up a homeless shelter exclusively for homeless, thrown out or just released from jail transgender youth and adults creating a safe space for them to thrive and learn essential life skills to put a end to the systematic oppression and control.
