A Service Dog for James and Libby

I am raising money for

James and Libby are getting a Service Dog.  Odie was born January 6th will be trained for 6 months in Arizona at  Fairytale Golden Retrievers and Golden Doodles
  She will be trained to assist the twins. Some of the tasks the dog will help with are; pick up dropped items, open and close doors, help undress, like taking off coats and shirts, help provide bracing for Libby when she gets in and out of bed, and we hope that the dog will be able to alert Jim and I in the case James has a seizure at night. Odie will know hand signals so James will be able to use non verbal requests for her assistance.  The program training our Odie will set up a YouTube account for us to watch the Odie get her training so we can refer back and follow threw at home.  Were excited to have this new addition to the family and hope that it gives the kids companionship, responsibility, and independence. 

The money collected will go towards...

Paying for Odie, her supplies, and her trip home.  The total cost for training Odie will be $6500, this includes Odie, her training, all shots. Spay and microchip and about $1000 for her to fly home with her trainer Wendy  She will spend a couple of nights in a hotel whil getting comfortable with us. Wendy , Odies\' trainer, asked that we also send $40 per month for Odie to get groomed; this will help her to be more comfortable with the grooming process.  We will need to purchase a dog hammock to put in the car for Odie to use while in the car driving with us so that she will be safe and has easy access to the kids incase they need her assistance, and a dog door for our sliding glass door. The total amount we would like to raise is $5000.00
