Summer Opera Program in Brazil!

My name is Brianna Gilliam, and I am a junior vocal performance major at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. I recently auditioned and was accepted to the Festival of International Operas of Americas' inaugural season in Campinas, Brazil this summer from June 29 - July 28, 2013. The Festival of International Opera of the Americas was created to enable participants to experience Brazil through their mutual love of opera.
I am currently seeking financial sponsors to assist me with tuition and hope I can count on your support. FIO Americas prides itself on its faculty and staff from the United States, Canada and Brazil, all of whom contribute to the professional atmosphere of the Festival. Paramount to the Festival is its emphasis on acting for singers, movement, Alexander Technique, Period Styles, diction, coachings, voice lessons, and performance opportunities. The Festival produces and presents three main stage operas, all with live orchestra, costumes, sets, and lighting. Other significant aspects of the Festival include its extensive scenes programs, as well as its presentation of weekly concerts.
The program tuition is $5000, which includes all transportation, accommodations, meals and educational activities. I am asking as many contributors as possible to donate whatever they can to help me reach my goal. I would very much appreciate your support in this fulfilling yet costly endeavor. I intend to document and share my travels through photographs, writings and videos with contributors upon my return.
