The Depot's Truck Was Stolen!

Can you help us replace our trusty truck?  It might not have been pretty, had AC, or a working radio, but it got the job done.

At the Depot www.creativereuse.org  we have been serving educators, artists, crafters and residents for over four decades.  We recirculate art and school supplies, distinctive furniture, housewares, jewelry, fabric, and other unique items in and beyond Oakland. Our box truck has supported this work for years, allowing us to collect reusable materials from households and companies all over the greater East Bay. Materials that otherwise would have ended up in the landfill. Moving items from donor to recipient is at core of what we do thus the truck is a critical component of that. However, it was recently stolen from the spot where we've parked it for years. 

Unfortunately, insurance won't fully cover a replacement so we are reaching out to the community to help us get rolling again. Please donate what you can to help us buy a used truck. All donations are tax-deductible and will have a direct impact on the environment, the arts, and support education in Oakland and surrounding cities.
