Help Gabriel become a Big Brother

We are Aaron and Sarah and we really want to add to our family and are hoping you may be able to help us reach our goal. We have been happily married for 13 years.  We always knew we wanted children and began trying to conceive about one year after we married but have been unsuccessful. We consulted doctors with no success or reason for this challenge. We decided that we wanted to adopt because we know that we can provide a loving and welcoming home to a child that needs one. We feel that our family is meant to be built a little differently than others. We adopted our first son, Gabriel, when he was 2 ½ years old. We now have a wonderful, happy and active boy who desperately wants to be a big brother.

Aaron and I have wanted to have more children but Gabriel has helped us move forward with this desire. He began talking about his "brother and sister" about a year ago. Telling his teachers that they were coming in January (2012). He even picked out names: Jared for his brother and Spider Girl for his sister. He was convinced that all we had to do was get them from the store! Since then, he has had us purchase a few things for them like toys and clothes as he waits patiently for them to come. We have explained that we will probably only be getting one and he is okay with that. I love that he talks about changing diapers and helping with general baby care. He so wants to have siblings and we really want to add more children to our family.

We have begun working with an adopion agency and are hopful that the process will go quickly once we have the paperwork done. We are so close to submitting all our documents and hope to have everything in by the end of this month or early May. We then wait until a birthmother begings working with our agency, sees our portfolio and likes us. We will then be put into contact with her and move forward accordingly.
