Donations for Granados Family

In November 2012, at the age of 44, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a relatively rare form of cancer that develops in the bone marrow and for which as of now, there is no cure.

There are several treatments to help me have a longer productive extension of life. One of the recommended treatments by my doctors is a stem cell transplantation for which I will be receiving high doses of chemotherapy. My stay in the hospital will be several weeks as will my recovery. During the cell transplant which will be done in Lubbock, Texas, the treatment will be difficult to attend and finance.

This has been a difficult time for us and our kids, ages 1 and 6. We are reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community for financial support. Although we have medical insurance, there are many expenses not being covered and our donations will help us pay for travel and medical expenses.
