Basic Needs

My expenses are headed up quickly. I need a little raft of support to make it to shore again.
I also need the ability to pause work, as needed, if I’m exposed to the coronavirus and feel like I might be in need of isolation and self-quarantine. I sink a bit every time I try to improve and/or simply rescue my financial situation, and I’m there again through both need and a misfit situation still for longterm, full-time work.
I would absolutely love to set up a nonprofit fund for this same situation for others in need that fall through any cracks of support that is out there.
I need breathing room with my own financial situation and maybe this transparency too before attempting a nonprofit. I can possibly get that going more quickly than I realize, but I honestly don’t know what the outcome will be for any fundraising efforts nor the logistics yet and need to put on my own breathing mask first, so here I am.
I already live life now on the cheap between a rental car (not cheap actually..., so I’m open to other solutions, such as a gifted/loaner car, owner financing, etc.), campsites, and inexpensive mid-week rate hotel rooms. Terms for rental agreements and room rates are changing and headed up with the season again, but the ability to profit from my work has headed down at the same time.
(I recently was accepted into a graduate degree program (in data science and visualization), and I currently can’t even afford to pay the initial enrollment fee. That $500 fee is actually a slightly longer term goal at the moment. The research and application process is one reason, along with the pandemic fallout, for this slip in independent financial “stability”/balancing act I’m hoping to emerge from soon.)
