Elliots' surgery

Elliot my son is loving,kind,and gentle

hes very bright, almost at a savant level with any creatures living or prehistoric

he loves building his own creations with legos

and is a super fan of the star wars series

he also has autism and prognathousm which is a condition where the lower jaw keeps growing.

he has had 5 other procedures as an outpatient

now he needs mandibular prognathous surgery to correct his jaw. the surgeon will break his lower jaw and put a plate in it so it will quit growing

he will have his jaw wired for 6 weeks and on a liquid diet. hopefully Insure.

i'm sure he is in the best hands with the doctors at UCSF center for pedriatic cranial anomolies.

he is brave and knows that pain means he is healing

our problem is ucsf is in san francisco which is 2 hours from our home.

we are on social security disability and can't afford housing, parking , meals etc. to be near the hospital for elliots procedure.

i dont know how long we will be in the city while elliot recuperates.

i would be happy to stay at someones home who lives within walking distance of the hospital
