Mi nombre es Cristian Sanchez. Soy el director de misiones de la IDD de la Región Noreste Hispana. Hace cuatro anos comenzamos a trabajar en la ayuda a Sudan del Sur, un país que apenas logro su independencia en el 2011 y es uno de los países mas pobres y necesitados del mundo. Lo hemos echo abriendo posos de agua, desarrollando proyectos de ayuda y asistencia a la niñez así como asistencia medica. Tristemente las guerras civiles nos han impedido seguir ayudando en el país y como consecuencia de ellas, cientos de miles de sudaneses han escapado y están localizados en campos de refugio. Hoy el desafío que enfrentamos es mayor que al principio. Tenemos solamente en la frontera con Uganda 18 campos de refugiados con mas de 300,000 personas sin infraestructura sanitaria, sin agua, sin posibilidad de tener alimentos, sin atención medica en una situación desesperante. Ruego que consideren hacer una donación que ayudara a traer alivio a esta situación de extrema necesidad que vive esta nación. Tu ayuda será destinada a llevar alimentos, utensilios de primer necesidad, medicamentos, ropa y suplir necesidades elementales para los cientos de miles de habitantes en estos campos. Personalmente estaré viajando en el mes de septiembre y junto a un grupo de voluntarios utilizare estos fondos para ayudar a estas personas que no tienen voz, ni salen por cámara de televisión y están marginados y sin esperanza. My name is Cristian Sanchez I am the mission director of COG Northeast Hispanic Region. Four years ago we began to work and help South Sudan, a country that just recently gained its independence in 2011 and is one of the most poor and in need countries in the world. We have been able to help this country by building water wells, developed projects of help and assistance directed towards children as well as providing medical assistance to those in need. Sadly, the civil wars have impeded us to continue helping in the country and as a consequence of the wars hundreds of thousands of Sudanese people have escaped and relocated to the refugee camps. Today the goal that we face is greater than it was in the beginning. Just only at the frontier we find ourselves with 18 refugee camps containing more than 300,000 people without sanitary/health infrastructure, without water, without a possibility of obtaining food, without medical attention – in a desperate situation. I beg you to consider making a donation that will help alleviate the situation of extreme need that this nation is living. Your help/donation will be used and destined to provide food, first need utensils, medicine, clothing, and to supply necessary elements to the hundreds of thousands of habitants found in these camps. Personally I will be traveling in the month of September and along with a group of volunteers we will be using these funds to help these people who have no voice nor appear on television and who find themselves outcast with no hope.
