2LGBTQ+ Shared Space

I want to create the first bilingual 2LGBTQ+ Shared Space in Hull. In a tiny office that can welcome up to eight queer artist-thinkers, the vision is to move towards a zero waste office that will thrive on collaboration, compassion and a strong sense of ethics.
Because for so long we have been excluded from the external and internal geographies of dominant cultural and social institutions, 2LGBTQ+ people need their own shared work space. We put the 2 in LGBTQ+ first because Hull is located on unceded Algonquin Territory and by positioning two-spirited folk before settler Canadians, we recognize this fact.
The $1,000 will allow us to buy the basics, including tables and chairs, a small sofa and bookshelves. Working on a small budget is a creative challenge we're thrilled about.
