I am starting this campaign to help raise money for myself, so that I may start my journey into Yoga Teacher Training. This is a major dream of mine. If anyone knows me well, you know that I have a love for serving people and my community. I love to motivate and inspire others by sharing my story and my personal journey from rock bottom to Life Coach/Yogi/Mentor.
Recieving a chance to take this 200 Hour Teacher Training course through my yoga studio (Breathe Yoga) will only be the start to a career path that I dream of. It was a career path that at a time, not long ago, I thought was very unatainable and out of reach. It was a scary goal of mine. One that you never really speak about or tell anyone about because it kind of scares you to think about doing. (One that you tuck away in a box and hide it in a deep dark closet so no one will think you are crazy if they see it or hear of it.)
Well my chance at my BIG GOAL/DREAM is now here. I have been working hard at my practice on and off the mat. My yoga teachers tell me that I am a natural and need to be leading others. They have told me that they see the love I have for yoga and the drive that it takes to not only be a good teacher, but a great one. I have been working hard at creating this life for myself. And the place where I fall short in making this dream a reality, is my wallet. I now need YOU my friends! I need the help of each and every one of my family and freinds right now!
This fee of $500 is just a small amount of what the course actually costs ($3250 in total, and that is without the books and resources needed to take the course.) I need to raise this by September 2nd, the last day to register for training. (Training starts September 9th and ends January 22nd).
200 Hour Teacher Training is just the beginning of my journey. It is only the start of the journey of opening my heart, my mind, and my soul. This will provide me with the tools so that I can better serve each and every person in my life, and help guide them with positivity and light. This will help me reach out and connect with the future participants in my classes so that I can give them a glimmer of hope and love that I also recieve every time I take a yoga class. The same glimmer of hope that I needed to take steps in the direction of becoming the man I am today!
