Ticklers Musicians Flood Relief Fund

I'm Mike Cappo, a resident of New Orleans and a working musician at Ticklers on Bourbon. Two of the musicians I work with, Chris Roberts and Nick Demayo  have had significant damage done to their immediate or extended families home. Many of those affected do not have flood insurance. This is not unusual for the Baton Rouge area. In fact, it is my understanding that many people in the areas that were affected do not have flood insurance because they aren't flood zones. The devastation occurring in these areas is unprecedented. I would like to raise money for Nick and Chris to help restore their family's homes and help them replace furniture, appliances and other essentials lost in the flood. Finally, this campaign is also intended to help them maintain the ability to provide for their families throughout this crisis. Both of them missed a week and a half of work after the flood because they were been stranded and tending to this complicated situation. There is no paid vacation for musicians and it is projected that their work schedules will remain erratic until several logistics are handled. I would like to set up an account for Chris and Nick with the goal of raising $10,000 for each of them. The account has been set up in Chris Roberts' name. He will withdraw the funds and distribute half of them to Nick. So far $2,160 has been raised. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks
