India Expedition - Service Project

For the last year, I have been making the focused effort to raise $7,600 for a Voluntourism Trip to India. $7,300 is the cost of the trip and $300 is the minimum required cash needed to take with me. Here are the ways I have managed to earn money so far:
GoFundMe Campaign in January 2017: $900 (Thank you so much for the support)
Tasman Meats Sausage Sizzle (Fundraiser): $500
2 different Tastepoint Fundraisers: ($1,000 each) $2,000
Working at Subway for the last 10 months: $3,100
As you can see, I have raised/earned $6,900. Although I am super proud of these efforts, I am still $1,100 short of my goal, and with the shifts I have left at Subway I can still earn another $400 on my own. This leaves me only $700 short of my overall goal to cover the cost of my trip, immunizations, visa to get into India and last minute equipment for a safe trip.
I promised my dad I would do this on my own. He has taught me not to start something if I am not willing to see it through to the end, even if the road seems difficult. My parents have been such a help in the process and have committed time and money like so many others. So this is where I am right now. I am asking for any support you can give as I organize one last push to help me reach my goal. Any amount with which you can help me, whether it’s $5 or $50, will help get me to my goal!
I have learned how important it is to give back and help those that cannot otherwise help themselves. Thank you so much for encouraging me, supporting me and in many cases, loving me through this effort. Please click the link below to contribute in any way you are able. I cannot wait to share this experience with you when I return!!
Thank you for your support!
