A Home for my mom.

My name is Jeremy Purvis and my mother, Patricia was one of the many that recently lost her home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. She is on a fixed income and, much like many in the area, could not afford flood insurance, so she has lost everything she owns. My mother lives alone and is in failing health, while I (her only remaining son) and her only Grandson, live here in Florida. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, but have been in the Jacksonville area since 2001. She raised myself and my brother after my father died, she was the mom and the dad, and gave me and my brother everything we ever needed. I work here in Jacksonville in healthcare, and I have always dedicated my time and volunteered myself to the people in my community here in Florida, as well as back home in Louisiana, and have never, until now, asked for anything in return. I now ask anyone and everyone that possibly can, please help me get my mom and what's left of her possessions here to Florida so she can be with what is left of her family, and God willing, find her a place to live.
